Papaya's are known for its medium size and hard, orange skin. It's an all year type of fruit which means it can be enjoyed in all seasons. All there is to it is to slice and cut it into cubes preferably, as it is juicy and watery similar to a watermelon with a slighty sweet bite. There are no seeds and has many benefits such as vitamin C,A, and Potassium.

Dragon Fruit

Dragon fruit sounds exactly like its name; it is a medium sized fruit that is round with a thin skin. its in season from june to november and comes in a couple of colours such as hot pink or orange, and the meat is either white or purple. It has numerous seeds but are edible and can easily stain so enjoy with precaution! it comes with health benefits such as iron, magnesium, potassium and vitamin C, and helps reduce the risks of cancer and obesity, as well as cardiovasculaar disease. it has no scent.

Soursop

Soursop is the fruit of Annona muricata, a type of tree native to tropical regions of the Americas. This prickly green fruit has a creamy texture and a strong flavor that is often compared to pineapple or strawberry.

Starfruit

All Year

Starfruits are medium sized and usually yellow, with sharp waxy ridges as skin, they are in season all year and look like s star when cut. The fruit is sweet and slightly sour with firm flesh. Remove the seeds prior to eating. Starfruit is also packed with vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, it is good in reducing inflammation and keeping the digestive system in good condition.

Passion Fruit

Below the skin is a cottony white peel. It is small, purple and round. The interior seed cavity of Purple passionfruit is filled with edible yellow to green jelly and medium sized black seeds. Its pulp is highly aromatic and has a tropical sweet tart flavor with nuances of pineapple, papaya, mango, citrus and guava. Durian is famously known as the "king of fruits", it is a spiky and hard skin fruit that is medium adn round and green in colour, you need to chop it open and sepreate the meat. the meat of th durian ranges from light to dark prange and is very creamy and smooth. the tasteh of durian is particularly pungent and is an aquired taste. ypu can eat it with your hands. durian contains vitamin c and manganese, and reduces cancer risk. the seasons are from december to feb, and juen to august.

Mango

Mangoes are a much loved fruit globally, they are medium with a pear like shape and has a very thin and breakable soft skin, it is orange and grows between the months june to november. depending on the ripeness it can either be very sour or sweet it is high in fibre and is a great source of vitamin A and C and helps prevent diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. it can easily stain clothing orange and has one big inedible seed.

Longan

Longan has an extremely similar appearance to longkang. it resembles a very tiny ball with. a neautral colour and easily breakable soft skin. it is sweet and juicy and has a bitter seed in each piece of meat. its in season from june to september. and is rich in vitamin c and calcium it is used to improve the immune system and increase energy. it is a troipical fruit.

Pomelo

The pomelo is a large citrus fruit, usually weighing 1-2 kilograms. It has a thicker rind than a grapefruit. Containing 11-18 segments, the flesh tastes like a mild grapefruit.

Lychee is a very small fruit that is shaped like a ball and is a neautral colour. it has a eaily breakable ski with juicy meat inside. the fruit is colourless and can either be sweet or sour. ti is available from may to august, be careful of the seedas it is very bitter. it promotes things such as the formation of red blood cells through the presence of iron in the fruit.

Mangosteen

Mangosteen, known as 'Queen of fruit', is an interesting looking fruit that is ball shaped, and a dark purple with a medium hard skin. it can easily be peeled open with ypur thumbs and is surprisingly creamy and milky. It is availavle from may to august and contains the vitamins C, B1, and B9 WHICH helps boost the immune system.

Rambutan

Rambutan is a funny looking fruit that is hot pink in colour, with hair like skin that is soft, small, and round. it can easily be opened with the hand and grows between the months june to august. it contains vitamins B2, B3, and C and is hailed as a superfood, it is sweet and juicy.

Custard Apple

Custard apples are small and round, they are green with a rough texture and is in seasons from March to september, the flesh is soft and sweet and is rich is calcium and iron, it provides immunity and reduces inflammation and is only meant to be eaten when the fruit is soft.

Longkong

Longkong is a tropical and non-climacteric fruit. They are small and round with s think sfot skin, inside their flesh is sweet and juicy, however do not eat the seed as it is bitter. it is rich in vitamin A, C, and B1. The fruit has antibacterial, antiviral, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Rose Apple
