A chicken rice stall that came from history: Mr. Ah Tai (the owner of this stall) used to be the head chef of the chicken rice stall just a couple rows down! After clashing heads with the owner and staying for another 20 more years - he finally started his own stall with his love for cooking.

A plate of this steamed chicken rice is definitely a bang-for-your-buck; at a little $3.50 - you get rather large, thick, and juicy slices of steamed chicken meat. The chicken was soft and tender, and soaked up the sauce of the dish well, as well as the glossy bouncy chicken skin. The rice was very lightly flavoured and a bit gummy, however, it made the pairing with the (very) spicy homemade chilli sauce palatable! Definitely a place worth visiting.
