Located in Maxwell Food Centre, Jiang Nan Wei Dao serves Xiao Long Bao, fried dumplings, Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice and Suan La Tang Noodles (Sweet and Sour Soup Noodles). Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice comes with a thin, flat piece of peppered pork chop and a generous amount of eggs scrambled with rice. They will ask you whether you would like chilli on the side.
This stall uses Sasanishiki, which is rice imported from Sendai, Japan. Perfect portion for one person, or to share with multiple people.
Do go there early, because the queue is never-ending during peak lunch hours.
I ordered the Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice for lunch. The other patrons also ordered the same dish as me. Whilst waiting for my lunch to be served, a long queue built up.
Fried Rice is cooked fresh off the wok, fried with eggs and Chinese chives. The thin slice of pork chop absorbs all the flavours of the seasoning, and goes well with the sprinkle of pepper on top!!
Amazing combo of pork chop and fried rice!
