Old Airport Road Food Centre

Constructed in 1973, Old Airport Road Food Centre had the intention to relocate the several street hawkers that lined the nearby Kallang estate. Today, it is one of Singapore’s biggest hawker centres with 168 cooked food stalls. In July of 2017, the management of the Old Airport Road Food Centre was changed to NTUC Foodfare to operate as a privately-run social enterprise hawker centre. Today, it is visisted by expats and locals alike.
