Tong Ah Eating House

The light and crispy Kaya Toast and crystalized kaya jam that was stewed for 10 hours is an absolute delight! It is a store with over 80 years of history where you can spend a graceful morning enjoying the perfect cup that's been made with the storeowner's chosen particular beans and leaves.

Lian He Ben Ji Claypot

Highly-acclaimed Claypot stall. Worth the 30 minute wait. Located at the ultimate food haven, Chinatown Complex Food Centre.

Danlao

Ever wonder where ex-Eggslut chefs go after they quit? These ones went on to start their own hawker stall at Maxwell Food Centre!

Tiong Shian Porridge Centre

Ever wondered what frog and crocodile meat taste like? Now's the time to uncover it with Tiong Shian Porridge Centre's tummy (and heart-warming) porridge! Located right next to Chinatown Complex.

Tian Ji Porridge

Don’t miss your chance! Be sure to visit early, as this gem sells out quickly. Be sure to try their signature porridge, filled with warmth and flavor.

Ma Li Ya Virgin Chicken

A popular soya chicken rice stall whose owner is said to be the teacher of the man behind Hawker Chan, the famous Michelin-starred soya sauce chicken rice shop.

Monzushi Singapore

Started in Tokyo as a yatai(stall) next to a public bath in 1933 called “Monchan-Ya” by my grandfather, Montaro Kaneko. At that time, sushi was served from sushi stalls and was meant to be a snack or quick bite to eat & go. His passion for quality and service has become the benchmark of his success as he opened his Edo style sushi restaurant in Yutenji Meguro, Tokyo – “Monzushi”. The near century-old restaurant has been helmed by three generations of Kaneko, and the latest being my father Hiroyuki and my brother, Yusuke Kaneko. All of us are committed to continue the family’s legacy in upholding the long held Japanese sushi tradition. Monzushi Singapore is the first venture outside Japan. We will bring that same dedication my grandfather had and host our guests here with pride.
