I've eaten the hokkien mee from Changi Village Hokkien Mee several times across their multiple outlets across Singapore and this is the first time I've seen them have a premium option! This cost $20 but can be shared across two people.

When I arrived at the stall, there was a long queue but despite my order being more special as compared to the others, my food was served fast.

I expected the serving size to be big but it was way bigger than I anticipated! Apart from the size, what makes this different from the usual Hokkien mee they serve is the ingredients. There truly are more premium ingredients like roasted pork, lala, and prawns that are bigger than usual.

The hokkien mee at this outlet had a creamier consistency than the one that I was used to, almost like an asian carbonara. The addition of premium ingredients also did elevate the dish. And it truly is good for two (or even more) people! Very worth it, I feel.
