Popular with locals on the ground floor of Tanjong Pagar's HDB. There are three stores in Japan, and the other two are seafood stores that offer more than 15 kind of crab dishes alone. This store opened a few years ago, and is recommended for those who want to eat crab dishes at a reasonable price in a relaxed atmosphere.
The butter crab was served with a creamy salted egg-like sauce, which was abundant to soak up with the warm sweet mantou bread served. My favourite was the vermicelli noodle crab, which was coated in a black pepper sauce. The gooey noodles were flavourful and of a big portion, both crabs were of a meaty portion and quality sized.
