The owner, Taki-san, previously worked in the Japanese F&B sector in Singapore. Following that, he opened "The Japanese Food Alley" with his wife in August 2019, before moving to this current location at Holland Drive in May 2021. They serve Japanese dishes that are hard to find in a hawker centre, such as Sashimi, Sushi, Chirashi Sushi Donburi and more. Nowadays, the stall is run by their local staff who have worked closely with the couple for more than 3 years. You can pay by credit card. They run a total of 3 stalls, 2 of which are called "Yosakoi Japanese Food Alley" located in Punggol and Clementi, which also serves Japanese dishes and Sake from Kōchi Prefecture!

I came here for dinner with 2 of my friends! Chose the Sashimi 3 Type Choice (Salmon, Tuna, Yellow Tail) for $28 in a heartbeat! We also ordered the Yakitori Combo Set (Yakitori 5 skews, the Tsukune 3 skews altogether for $17) and the Dry Maze Ramen for $10. The Sashimi was so fresh and thickly cut, and it was served on ice for maximum freshness! The Yakitori was so soft and tender, with generous chunks of tsukune! The Yakitori sauce was immaculate <3 I was satisfied with the Maze Ramen, which was sweet and spicy with lots of ingredients. To be able to enjoy top quality Japanese dishes at this price, I will definitely come back again!
