Located at Golden Mile Food Centre - probably one of the best hawker centres in Singapore, there is a stall that serves up a nice and hearty meal for curry rice lovers.

Curry Rice in Singapore hawker centres isn’t just about a side of curry or a scoop of curry drizzled over your bowl of rice, but it is drenched and heavily doused onto it so that you can get every grain of rice covered with curry. Like the economical rice style of ordering, there are a variety of dishes to choose from. You would have to point and tell the stall owner which food item you’d like in your dish, and the uncle or aunty will pick, and lastly if you are looking for curry, it’s a sight to believe.

Whether you are looking for just vegetables, all meat, seafood or tofu, there are loads to choose from. So price also depends on what you order as well.

Curry rice is a hard one to navigate because sometimes you get really good ones out there, but sometimes the curry isn't up to standard. And to have a whole scoop of curry on your plate, it's quite a risk to take.

For this particular stall, I really loved the curry. And because the curry is in quite a large quantity, it shouldn't be too spicy. So for curry rice curry, it's a little diluted in terms of texture, taste wise is a mixed between sweet and a tinge of spice, but still packs the creamy, rich flavour of curry.

I ordered this with a few dishes and in terms of portion, it's more than enough for 1 person. The other dishes were okay, but the curry is one that I'd go back for.
