This couple has been running this dessert stall at Ang Mo Kio Ave 1 for more than 10 years. The owner, Mr. Tan, used to help his mother run her noodle stall. After getting married and having children of his own, he was inspired to make a dessert stall with all the desserts children would love. The Ice Jelly, Ice Kachang, Golden Pearl are their recommendations. Mr. and Mrs. Tan will spend a few hours everyday after closing their stall to prepare the jelly and pearls, leaving them overnight to make sure that they are well-flavoured. Due to manpower issues, they tell their original soya bean milk and Tau Huay recipe to an external vendor and have them deliver it to them. When we asked them about the future of this stall, they wanted to let their children pursue their passions, hence they will run their stall for as long as they can.

I walked with my friend to this stall from the station under the hot scorching sun, so I was dying for something cold drinks and Ice Kachang before lunch to quench my thirst. We went with the Mango Ice Kachang for $2.70 and the Passion Fruit Juice for $2.00. Generous amounts of mango sauce drizzled all over the shaved ice, with pink and green syrup and condensed milk below. The Ice Kachang even had jelly inside, sweet and delicious! The Passion Fruit Juice had dried plum in it, and had the right amount sweet-and-sourness. Perfect for Singapore's hot weather!
