This popular stall cooking up Singapore-style ramen was co-founded by Gwern Khoo and Ben Tham in 2013. And has won titles such as the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2016 and 2017.
Signature
Definitely the most aesthetically pleasing bowl of hawker noodles I have eaten - you can tell that the cooks maintain great effort to make each bowl look shockingly appetising. The service provided was friendly and patient with each customer even though there was a queue lining up (going out of their way to find me in a crowd to ask me if i'd rather have my dish spicy or not!). The chicken wing was crispy and well seasoned, accompanied by a thick slice of fatty chashu that easily melts in your mouth, next to a creamy gooey onsen egg. My favourite part had to be the boiled dumplings - that were generously stuffed with filling consisting of boiled shrimp and meat. Most importantly - the abundant noodles were of a chewy texture, which made each bite mixed with all the toppings flavourful. I have to say $9 for this size 'small' bowl of ramen was very filling and worth every cent - as you can taste the effort the cooks put in into assembling the quality ingredients in a strategically beautiful way.
