Before being taken over by the current owner, the stall was helmed by the founder for 15 years until they retired.

The new owner, who is a family friend of the founder, is a sweet young lady who has taken care of the business for four years running. While she wanted to create her own recipes, she decided to retain the old ones, as per the previous owner's wishes.

Based on what she is working as now, you wouldn't have guessed that she previously used to work in Louis Vuitton. However, she took this leap of faith to own her own F&B business as it has been her dream of doing so for very long.

While her husband suggested that she should own a cafe, she decided that a hawker stall was a more sustainable option.

Her stall has a wide range of classic nasi padang dishes to choose from like chicken, rendang and sambal goreng — you'll definitely be spoilt for choice!

I've grown up eating nasi padang and I'm very particular about it, so I am glad to say that the food here really hits the spot and brought back so much nostalgia!

I visited the stall on a weekday around 2 pm, slightly after the lunch crowd. It was very empty and there weren't many dishes on display. However, I was lucky enough to snag a plate of rice topped with a large curry chicken drumstick, sambal goreng, lontong and bergedil.

For the price point, the portion size was very generous and I honestly feel like this could feel two people! The chicken was very meaty and tender while the vegetables were very fresh. The chilli and curry sauces were also very fragrant and packed a punch.
