Located in ABC Brickworks Food Centre, Ah Er Soup serves Traditional Chinese Herbal Soup. On its long list of awards includes the 2021 Michelin Bib Gourmand! Serves 8 types of soup, such as Buddha Jumps Over The Wall and Ten Tonic Ginseng Chicken Soup. Hugely popular, High nutritional value! No MSG! Add white rice for 50¢, pumpkin rice for 80¢. Don't forget to take a saucer of Light Soya Sauce, thick and viscous Dark Soya Sauce or Chilli Padi Light Soya Sauce to go with your soup.
Do go slightly before the peak hour to avoid disappointment.

Never-ending lunch hour queue! I decided to try the 2 rare soups, Buddha Jumps Over The Wall and the Ten Tonic Ginseng Chicken Soup, with Pumpkin rice.
Buddha Jumps Over The Wall has chicken, red dates, abalone slices, fish maw, shiitake and celery leaves. White soup with a mellow taste. Fish maw had a jelly-like texture. Easy to drink.
Ten Tonic Ginseng Chicken Soup came with a huge chicken drumstick, red dates, celery leaves. Black, translucent herbal soup. Strong herbal taste compared to the previous soup.
Both soups had high nutrition value, with a soothing taste, good for the soul.
Pumpkin rice has chunks of pumpkin in it, went perfectly with the soups!
