This popular stall cooks their Malay dishes in the traditional Kapau style of Nasi Padang.

Nasi Padang has always been near and dear to my heart. If I were to recommend some top places to go and get your fill around Singapore; I would recommend this one. It serves authentically delicious Malay dishes that you get to customise based on your cravings. The dishes that I chose alongside rice was asam pedas (spicy white fish meat in curry), a spiced soft begedil, ayam goreng breast (fried chicken, which was very thick & juicy!), tender paru with a sweet chilli topping (chicken lungs), stewed veggies and to finish it all off - a dash of spicy sambal belacan! You can tell by the taste & size of the dishes that the cooks here don't skimp out on their quality ingredients! Very homely cuisine.
