This is a traditional porridge shop that has been running for nearly 40 years. The shop is operated by a couple in their 70s, and you can feel their kindness in the welcoming atmosphere. They continue to offer reasonably priced meals, keeping in mind their long-time regular customers and the elderly locals living nearby. Although it's rare to find in hawker centers, the shop serves Jelly Fish Salad, which is commonly seen as an appetiser in Chinese restaurants. For those who might find just the porridge not enough, I recommend pairing it with Jelly Fish Salad or Sesame Oil Chicken as side dishes. While most porridge shops open early in the morning, this shop has limited hours in the afternoon to evening. I highly recommend that you arrive around opening time to avoid missing out.

The menu maybe simple, but it packs a punch. With only five items to choose from, I went with the restaurant’s top recommendation: Jelly Fish Salad and Sesame Oil Chicken, paired with a comforting bowl of porridge. The Jelly Fish Salad offers a refreshing contrast, with the crunchy texture of the jellyfish complemented by a zesty kick from the chili. The Sesame Oil Chicken, on the other hand, boasted a bold, savory flavor that melded beautifully with the porridge. Both dishes paired well with the porridge. Despite the affordable prices, the portions were generous, making for a satisfying meal!
