A unanimous favourite amongst the Japanese community for Xiao Long Baos and Dumplings! Featured in the Michelin-Guide, this stall is located inside Chinatown Complex Food Centre. Heavily congested during peak hours.
Huge variety of dishes, including Xiao Long Bao, Fried Dumplings, Soup Dumplings, Spicy Wanton, Dan Dan Mian, etc. You can witness them kneading each dumpling by hand!
They will start taking your order even when you're at the back of the queue, so do shout the menu number of your choice. Fret not, they are very accurate with their customers' orders.
Do consider buying the frozen dumplings home to eat!

This hawker centre was a maze; took me forever just to find this stall. Do look at the map carefully and memorise the location of this stall before beginning your search. I reached during peak hours so there was a snake-like queue. Waited for 20 minutes.
Small, bite-sized Xiao Long Baos, 10 for $6.50. The rich broth was to die for! Add black vinegar and ginger for an unbeatable taste.
Fried Dumplings were stuffed with meat and Chinese leek. Add black vinegar with ginger, or you can go for the chilli!
Dan Dan Mian was rich in peanut flavour, thick broth! Generous minced meat toppings, a high quality dish! Generous servings too!
Altogether for $17.50. Definitely value-for-money!
