Tucked away at the bustling Tiong Bahru Market is Min Nan Pork Ribs and Prawn Noodles, which has a rich history of 29 years.

The business is currently helmed by Mr Tan Kim Leng.

The stall specialises pork ribs and prawn noodles in either dry or soup form.

Min Nan Pork Ribs and Prawn Noodles is very popular and you can expect a snaking queue during meal times. They also have been featured on the media like Channel 8 reality television show Buzzing Cashier.

The stall also won the Outstanding Hawker Mentor Award during the Singapore Hawkers' Seminar & Awards 2024 for guiding new hawkers.

When I visited the hawker centre on a weekday for lunch, there was already a long queue and I had to wait a good 10 minutes before I could place my order.

I got the largest bowl for the prawn and pork ribs noodle and I must say, they truly delivered because the bowl was massive and loaded with ingredients! I also opted to order a mix of kway teow and beehoon for a difference in texture but they also have other noodle options like yellow noodes.

The food was delicious. The mark of a good bowl of prawn noodles is the broth and the one here was packed with umami and very flavourful. The prawns were also massive and succulent while the pork ribs were meaty and juicy.
