If you've never tried old-school local desserts, Liang Lian Garden is a good option to consider.
The stall, which is situated at Tiong Bahru Market, has a plethora of options on the menu for you to choose from.
The stall is single-handedly run by a Chinese lady who does all the work herself.
Some dessert options diners can look forward to include Bubor Cha Cha, Ice Kachang and Chendol.
She also sells unique menu items such as Dinosaur Ice Kachang, which contains milo.

I have a penchant for old school desserts so I was really pleased with the selection at Liang Liang Garden.
I ordered myself an ice kachang and it was pretty huge! For the price point it was really worth it.
The icy tower was coated in different syrups to give it a colourful exterior and the bottom of the ice was goodies like atap seeds, jellies and more.
Next time, I really want to try the Milo Dinosaur flavour, which they are known for. It's the first time I've ever heard of a milo dinosaur ice kachang!
