With an avid passion for food from a young age, the owner opened this very own Singapore branch 7 years after years in the Malaysian F&B Business. The owner learnt this secret recipe after an apprenticeship, combining it with the rice rich in chicken broth to come up with this special rice that is impossible to replicate. Using fresh chicken, it is cooked for hours at the perfect temperature to produce this juicy and tender texture. Apparently, for the soup, the owner changes the ingredients and even using broth other than chicken broth to ensure that the customers come back for more. This stall serves both Singaporean and Malaysian-style dishes. The Singaporean-style Chicken Rice Set and the Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken for the Malaysian-style are highly recommended.

Signature

Chicken Rice Set, Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken, Soya Sauce Chicken

My friend and I ordered the Chicken Rice Set for $4.50 and the Malaysian-style Ipoh Bean Sprout Chicken Rice for $4. The set came with not just the chicken and rice, but also vegetables and braised egg, such value for money!! The broth taste in the rice stood out, combined with the the juicy chicken... it was just excellent! The vegetables were also crunchy and the braised egg was strong in flavour. The beansprouts in the Malaysian-style Chicken Rice complemented the chicken very well. Both soups had chunks of carrots and radish, which helped me with my daily vegetable intake ^^ Do add chilli or ginger!!
