Taman Jurong Food Centre is no short of drink stalls and Kiat Seng Coffee Stall is one of them. They have an array of both homemade local drinks and canned drinks.
Some homemade drinks you can find include Honey Lime Juice, Homemade Barley, Sour Plum Juice and Homemade Ice Lemon Tea. There is also freshly-blended sugarcane for those who enjoy this classic drink that can only be found in hawker centres!
Those who need their caffeine fix can also come here to get some freshly prepared hot tea and coffee which is made and poured right in front of you.
Was craving for a sweet drink and chanced upon Kiat Seng Coffee Stall.
I ordered a sugarcane and honey lemon and was surprised to see a young lady who looked like she was in her 20s blending the drink. It's rare to see such young folk in today's hawker scene!
She was efficient in preparing my drinks and I got them in a jiffy. The sugarcane was extremely sweet and refreshing — they use good quality sugarcane! And the honey lemon was very soothing, especially for my slightly sore throat. Will be back to support them and try their other offerings!
