Guangzhou Wanton Noodle has been open for more than 15 years, nestled in Commonwealth's Tanglin Halt Hawker Centre. A family business from beginning till now, closed for lunch and opens its shop mainly for dinner and supper from 3PM to 12 midnight.
This stall has been picked up by local media for being Singaporean film director Mr. Eric Khoo's go-to Wanton Mee stall, and is often featured by many Youtubers too. A film titled "Ramen Teh" was based off this family business.
The flavours stay true to the classic taste of olden-day Singapore, and they have not altered their cooking methods nor flavours from 1987. Never-ending flow of customers, do expect to queue!

I had to eat the Wanton Noodles from this stall since my dad had been raving to me about it. You can choose from two types of noodles, wanton or dumpling noodles, as well as soup or dry. I went with my father's recommendation, the Wanton Noodle Dry for $4. It looks like the typical Wanton Mee I've had all my life, but the sauce took me by surprise! It was black sauce-based, coating every strand of noodle, which was soft and chewy! The Char Siu was so well-marinated, so good! The soup that came with the noodles was well-seasoned with the broth of the wanton, salt and pepper, I loved it!
