After learning how to cook from his brother, the owner started this stall 40 years ago at Ayer Rajah Food Centre as a couple. Without changing the recipe his brother taught him, this stall has won the hearts of many repeat customers.
When we asked what items are popular on their menu, they replied resoundingly with Prawn Rolls and Fish Head Curry! The Prawn Rolls is made with prawns wrapped in Sotong Paste (squid paste) and fried together, making it crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Although the Fish Head Curry is filled with rich and creamy coconut milk, fret not for it's balanced out with lots of vegetables (including onions, okra, tomatoes and more), with a hint of sweetness from the pineapples for an overall sweet and spicy taste. Do go early to avoid disappointment as the Fish Head Curry is often sold out fast!

It was very difficult for us to choose from the sea of dishes on the menu, so we asked for the chef's recommendations and got the Fish Head Curry and the Prawn Rolls〜 The Fish Head Curry was extremely creamy with a sweet -spicy flavour to it. The vegetables complemented the curry very well. Even after ordering one bowl of rice, there was still a lot of curry left! The Prawn rolls were crispy yet fluffy, and I think they'll go well with mayonnaise!! Do come as a family or with friends to enjoy this wholesome feast together!!
