A small ramen eatery nestled in the heart of Tanjong Pagar's working district, serving up Tonkotsu-styled broth.

Signature

Tonkotsu Ramen

TONKOTSU STANDARD

Served warm, this light tonkotsu broth is not too creamy yet salty. The ramen texture itself was towards the softer side yet every bite was nicely flavourful along with lean chashu slices (an add-on), An array of condiments and toppings were offered on the side such as black fungus, spring onions, and spiced Japanese vegetables - this was appreciated as I got to try combinations I haven't tasted before, with complimentary eggs provided. This restaurant is a great place to have a savoury and filling lunch.

Monzushi Singapore

Started in Tokyo as a yatai(stall) next to a public bath in 1933 called “Monchan-Ya” by my grandfather, Montaro Kaneko. At that time, sushi was served from sushi stalls and was meant to be a snack or quick bite to eat & go. His passion for quality and service has become the benchmark of his success as he opened his Edo style sushi restaurant in Yutenji Meguro, Tokyo – “Monzushi”. The near century-old restaurant has been helmed by three generations of Kaneko, and the latest being my father Hiroyuki and my brother, Yusuke Kaneko. All of us are committed to continue the family’s legacy in upholding the long held Japanese sushi tradition. Monzushi Singapore is the first venture outside Japan. We will bring that same dedication my grandfather had and host our guests here with pride.

YAO Japanese Rice House

Yao specialises in authentic Japanese Curry Rice and brings it to the hawker scene, quality food at an affordable price.

Keisuke Tonkotsu King

A cult favourite- Keisuke Tonkotsu King has a handful of locations around Singapore. The Tanjong Pagar outlet is always spotted with a snaking queue and can only seat about 20 at a time. They specialise in Tonkotsu Ramen; which is a broth marinated in pork bone marrow and fat for several hours till it is milky white and thick.

Old House

An old-school family-run tzi char restaurant at Outram that sells a very unique dish called Dinosaur Prawn Mee.

Pin Wei Chicken Rice & Noodle

Flavourful rice with tender and juicy chicken, enjoy this fusion of Singaporean and Malaysian-style Chicken Rice and Noodles!

Teochew Satay Bee Hoon

This stall is located in a quiet corner of Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market, and specialises in their Teochew version of satay bee hoon. Winning many awards over the years as well as newspaper features.
