The stall was established over 35 years ago and initially focused on manufacturing and selling fishballs and yong tau foo before they finally decided to open their own shop selling wholesome yong tau foo dishes. The founder, Alan Koh, had inherited his parents recipes before opening the shop. The two-storey establishment provides diners with both aair-conditionedseating and al fresco seating and you can choose the ingredients that you like from the open refrigerator on the first floor. Out of all the yong tau foo shops I’ve eaten at, this place has one of the most variety of options I’ve come across and most of their ingredients are handmade too.

While they offer both dry and soup versions of yong tau foo, they are famous for their dry rendition, where your dish comes doused in their special housemade savoury sauce. I got myself a bowl of dry yong tau foo and customised it with about 7 ingredients and noodles. You can opt to have the fried ingredients re-fried so that they are all extra crispy, which I did. For my noodles, I chose thick bee hoon which were very thick and slippery with a good bite, and it paired really well with the housemade gravy and ingredients. There are also other noodle options such as yellow noodles, kway teow and bee hoon and other sauce options such as laksa and soup.
