EAT. was established back in 2006 and is part of the Fei Siong Group.
It was the first business that represented Fei Siong’s history of selling fish ball noodles and soup.
There are several stalls scattered across Singapore and conveniently located in suburban and city centre malls.
They are popular because they sell hawker food at affordable prices in air-conditioned settings. EAT. offers a variety of traditional local dishes, such as bak chor mee (minced pork noodles), fishball noodles, laksa, and an array of fried snacks.
Eat is my go-to spot for affordable hawker fare when I'm in a mall. There are a number of stalls scattered around Singapore, including the Tiong Bahru outlet, which is conveniently located near my home.
The variety here is pretty impressive, especially considering that Fei Siong Group's speciality lies in fishballs.
I ordered the minced meat noodles. This was surprisingly good - the noodles were springy while the bowl was loaded with plenty of ingredients like minced meat, mushrooms and meatballs.
I also tried the curry rice and I liked how it was flavourful but not cloying. For the price point and the location, it is very good!
