The fresh fish for the restaurant is ordered from the fish market every morning at 3 am. Mr. Lim William; the founder of the company - is also active and standing on the spot, now with the help of his two sons who work together. There are many customers who come from a distance away that make the effort to get their hands on a bowl of this fish soup. Be prepared to queue at least 30 minutes (and even longer on weekends!). The son diligently updates the shop's Facebook page regarding regular holiday schedules as well as the stock of the menu. So check it out!

A bowl of their aromatic gingery fish soup left my stomach feeling satisfied, it was clean and light - just enough to comfort you on a rainy day. The humble looking dish came abundant with a variety of different fresh fish slices, veggies and delicious conveniently peeled prawns. Our bowls came priced at $6 and $5 each, which is very appropriate considering the top-notch quality of ingredients you get and the belly-filling portions. If you have to pick only one fish soup restaurant - this is the one! The flavours of the variety of fish, veggies and the pork swimming in the gingery soup was beautiful. And on top of all that - you can chance upon the shop owner - who is very generous and hospitable - which sends the ratings of this place over the top!
