Although there are a few outlets in Singapore, the roasted delights have been consistent throughout. Customers from Hiang Ji have praised the stall for its generous portions, where most go there to try their Char Siew Rice and Roasted Duck Noodles.
The braised delights are roasted for hours with their special sauce along with spices that brings out the fragrance of the meat. Just a 10-minute bus ride from the Hougang Mrt Station, whether you are there for a bowl of rice or noodles, Hiang Ji delivers.

When it comes to a plate of roasted delights, I must say Hiang Ji ranks high. Portion-wise, it was decent for the price - not too stingy on the amount of duck served as compared to other stalls.
Definitely at first glance, the glistening of its roasted skin signals a good sign, adding a nice layer of crunch to your overall taste. The meat is a little tougher than I hoped, which took quite an effort to chew off its bits rather than having to use my spoon to remove the good parts of it.
However, beware of the unassuming spices lurking in your noodles which was definitely unpalatable when bitten. The soup was tasty and slightly leaning towards a herbal note, which was a nice contrast to the noodles.
