Brotzeit is a chain of casual German dining restaurants that was established in Singapore in 2006. Their VivoCity outlet is their first and they went on to have several others across Singapore and even overseas in Malaysia, Vietnam and China.
Come here if you want to try Bavarian cuisine, which includes Schweinshaxe (pork knuckles) and Nürnberger sausages.
For those who love a good drink, you'll be glad to know that they have a range of beers, cocktails and other drinks for a merry good time. Their VivoCity outlet also has al fresco dining if you prefer the outdoors. It's a great place for gatherings with your loves ones!
I was feeling some sausages and roti so I came here around dinner time on a sunday night to satisfy my itch. I ordered the grilled pork sausages and the salmon rosti.
The rosti comes with generous slithers of smokey salmon which added a nice salty touch to the dish. The rosti itself was perfectly crisp. Albeit slightly oily, it was still delicious.
The sausages are paired with purple slaw and sliced fried potatoes. I love the slaw! It added a nice, tangy touch to the dish and cut through the saltiness of the sausages. Do eat the potatoes before they get soggy too!
