Before embarking on her hawker journey. Aericurl studied Pharmaceutical Science at Republic Polytechnic. She then chanced upon the hawker entrepreneurship opportunity and decided to take a leap of faith and participate in it. She eventually open a dessert store after her course and now sells homely traditional desserts.

Currently, she runs the stall with her mum, who gave up her job to help her daughter with the stall.

Some sweet treats you can look forward to enjoying here include classics like tau suan, chendol, bubur hitam and ice kachang.

I love myself a refreshing traditional dessert so I was very excited to try the ones from Dessert at Ci Yuan Community Centre Hawker Centre.

They have quite an extensive array but I eventually settled for the cendol, which costs just $2!

The icy treat came loaded with green rice flour jelly, gula melaka and red beans. The dessert was also drenched in coconut milk, but just the right amount so it wasn't too cloying. Every component of the dessert was also executed well and it was the perfect treat to beat the sweltering Singapore heat. For the price point, it is really worth it!
