This stall located at Haig Road Market & Food Centre stands out from the rest with its long queues. Awarded 5 chopsticks on Makansutra.
The Fish Soup Porridge has a clear soup, rice, sliced fish, seaweed, lettuce, shallots, and salted vegetables.
The Seafood Soup has a generous serving of sliced fish, prawns, squid, tomato, seaweed, lettuce, shallots, and salted vegetables. Would recommend ordering an additional bowl of rice for 50 cents! Uses Batang fish (Spanish Mackerel).
This healthy bowl of nutritional goodness is perfect for breakfast or lunch!

Got queue means must be good right? I had to order both the Fish Soup Porridge and the Seafood Soup for lunch.
Let me start with the umami flavour packed in just the first sip of the Fish Soup... The shallots and seaweed gave a good accent to the taste! Lots of fresh slices of fish. I recommend dipping the fish slices in a seperate saucer of light soya sauce with chilli padi.
The Seafood Soup had generous portions of prawns, squid and more! Although the porridge was easy to swallow, get the soup and rice separately to enjoy all the flavours in the soup!
100 marks in nutritional value, absolutely worth the wait!
