Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice has won a number of awards in Singapore, and is a family business.
Signature
A plate of their medium chicken rice was $5, it is definitely on the pricier side and I do know equally tasty places with the same portions for less (psst psst.. the chicken rice stall a couple stalls down). However, I still do recommend this place - their rice was flavoured to a desirable level of chicken stock, accompanied with an extremely spicy homemade chilli sauce. The chicken slices were thick and juicy - however, it was a bit tough to chew, and for $5, I wish it had came with a fragrant broth on the side. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly and efficient in preparing the order and there is always a snaking queue for this place. I do recommend it.
