The stall just opened last year in April and is run by Issac Lim and Eric Kee, two young men who met while serving National Service.
Each of them have their own experience with the food industry — Isaac worked as a chef in a Michelin-starred restaurant while Eric's family are hawkers — so you know the food here is cooked with good technique.
What makes their stall so appealing is the build-your-own meal concept. Diners get to chose between a variety of fish like pomfret and seabass and have these cooked Hong Kong-style or with Thai-style Garlic & Lime. These are then paired with rice and soup. Other menu items that can be added to complete your meal are lala and steamed vegetables.

Signature

Steam Fish

Steamed fish is typically found at a zi char restaurant or at home, so it's nice seeing it in a hawker setting.
Fish in general isn't the cheapest food so I was surprised to see that you could get pomfret and seabass with rice and soup for under $10.
I opted for the pomfret and added on lala and steamed vegetables to complete my meal. The fish was extremely well — plump and moist, it slid off the bone easily. It was also doused in a soy sauce which gave the sweet fish a touch of savouriness. It was also a reasonably sized piece of fish so I was very happy and full after my meal.
The lala is also an add-on that I recommend. These were fresh and soaked up the soy sauce gravy, providing a nice element of sweetness to my meal.
