A Chicken Rice stall located in Maxwell Food Centre.
Despite the intense competition with other delicious chicken rice stalls, Heng Heng Hainanese Chicken Rice certainly does not lose out, recognised for their culinary skills!
Often a one-man stall, this sincere tao-kay serves both steamed and roasted chicken rice.
Chicken Rice Set priced at $6 for the smaller size and $8 for the bigger portion. Comes with soup and vegetables. For the vegetable dish, choose between the Stir-Fried Vegetables with Oyster Sauce, or Tau-Gay (beansprouts).

Reached at 8.30pm, just 30 minutes before closing. The Tao-kay noticed me, smiled and waved as he paced back to the stall to take my order :) I was the last customer for the day, so he gave me generous portions of stir-fried vegetables with oyster sauce and beansprouts!!
Mountains of chicken meat! Comes with some cucumber at the bottom. Boneless, tender chicken was delicious and easy to eat. Value for money, even comes with soup! The chilli, ginger and black sauce went so well with the rice! I was touched by the owner's hospitality :) Must-try for anyone who comes to Maxwell Food Centre!
