Featured in 2017 Michelin Guide, Hong Peng La Mian Xiao Long Bao serves Xiao Long Bao, Fried Chinese dumplings, and hand-pulled Lamian noodles. The Lamian options include Suan La Tang Noodles (hot and sour soup), Sliced-fish Noodles, Peking Zhajiangmian, Beef Noodle Soup, etc. One unique thing about this stall is that it also serves Chinese porridge and Wonton noodles. They also sell frozen dumplings (30 for $10) and frozen Xiao Long Bao (20 for $10). Located at People's Park Food Centre in Chinatown.

I ordered 6 Xiao Long Baos for $4, 12 fried dumplings in the smallest size for $5 and $3.50 for the noodles, so cheap!
The Xiao Long Bao's skin was slightly thicker than my liking, but the succulent meat and soupy broth won me over. Even better with vinegar and finely-sliced ginger♪
I wished that the fried dumplings were crispier on the outside, but it was still crunchy. The skin was thicker than I expected! Generous filling of Chinese leek and pork meat! If you want soya sauce, just ask the shop owner! I was overjoyed that my Suan La Tang was filled to the brim! Can share one bowl with 2 or more people. There was black fungus, carrots and bamboo shoots in the soup, and slurpy noodles. Too spicy for me. Nonetheless, it was definitely a bargain!
