The owner of this stall is a Singaporean man who took over from his mother, who started the shop decades ago and has been selling western hawker food for many years. Now, the man has been running the store for almost 6 years and his godchildren help him out as well. They specialise in a range of homely, nostalgic plates of western food such as Chicken Chop, Pork Cutlet and Grilled Fish, these which are made with fresh ingredients. If you are in the East, you’d be glad to know that they have another outlet at Geylang Bahru Food Centre.

I ordered the Chicken Chop ($6) and was glad to find that the serving size was very generous. I was worried that the grilled chicken would potentially be overcooked and tough, but I was pleased to find that it was extremely tender, juicy and meaty. My knife cut through it easily and the meat was not tough to chew. The chicken was also doused in a viscous, rich gravy with definitely enhanced the flavours of the chicken. The plate of chicken chop also comes with baked beans, coleslaw, half a slice of bread and french fries. I really loved the french fries especially as they were thickly cut with ridges, giving it plenty of bite.
