Established in 1952. Despite it being located at the deep ends of the Chinatown Complex Food Court, Tian Tian Porridge has been a local favourite across generations for having a "creamy and homely" taste. Two options only, pork or fish porridge.

Signature

Fish Porridge (Small/ Medium/ Big), Pork Porridge (Small/ Medium/ Big)

I ordered the $3 Pork Porridge with one additional egg (+30¢). The raw egg caught my attention. For the Pork Porridge, you can choose fully minced meat, or half minced meat half pork liver.
When served, do mix the ingredients for awhile as the egg and pork liver will become cooked by the remaining heat. The rice had melted into the broth. Mix the raw egg to get a yellow creamy egg soup. Tasted like the porridge was made with chicken broth.
Eat while it's hot, before the rice completely melts into the soup. Smooth texture of the porridge.
The tao-kay will bring the bowl to your table, if you come in pairs he will serve it on a tray. However, he did not remove the eggshell that had accidentally dropped into my porridge. (He could not really understand English.) The creaminess (or stickiness) of the egg will linger in your mouth for awhile.
