The stall has over 50 years of history, serving up handmade fishball noodles. A true gem located. at Telok Blangah Crescent Food Centre, queueing long hours for a satisfying bowl is truly worth the wait. Run by 2 brothers and their spouses, this family business started out as a simple stall in Kim Tian some 50 years ago and now are only opened on certain days to serve the lunchtime crowd.

The bouncy fishballs are made handmade daily to ensure its freshness, along with the chilli and pork lard. The stall owners wake up early in the wee hours of the morning to prep for the day - making their famous fishballs (think about the hours filleting the fish and scraping the fish meat by hand). Options to get the fishball soup with noodles or just fishball soup. Either way, the food is so good, it’s going to make your day.

Although they are mainly known for their handmade fishballs, the dried noodles (with chilli) was also cooked to perfection. For an affordable price of $3, it came with a good portion of noodles and 5 large fishballs. The noodles were chewy and flavourful - thanks to the chilli and had just the right amount of spice. For the fishballs, needless to say, it was bouncy, juicy and so chewy I throughly enjoyed this satisfying meal. Probably a good option to just order the fishballs with soup if you ever want to cut down on the carbs.

Song Heng Fishball Noodle lived up to its name. Take a trip down to their stall because when the shop owners get older and opening hours get reduced, you don’t want to miss the chance of trying one of the best fishballs in Singapore.
