Moving from Holland Village to the Buona Vista area, the couple are currently running this restaurant in a humble coffee shop in the middle of the heartlands. Walk under Block 19A's dark-blue canopy and look out for their retro, yellow signboards! They are know for their soup, simmering fish bone with XO Brandy to make their broth, before adding milk for a mellow taste. Strong white and black pepper accents! Do mix your soup well as the pepper tends to sink to the bottom!
During lunch hour, it was quite crowded. Chope your seat before ordering! They will ask for your table number and deliver your order straight to your table. The ginger and pepper kicked in! Perfect for slightly colder rainy days! Filled to the brim with fish, but do look out for fish bones underneath the thick breading! My mouth watered when I looked at their crab and Chinese side dishes 🤤
