Since 1998, Formosa Delights has been known for its handmade noodles and pastries.
Apart from having a restaurant at Clementi Road, they also have several stalls in various Food Republic and Food Junction food courts at Manulife Centre, Vivo City, Bugis Junction and Eastpoint Mall.
Many know them for their handmade noodles which come served either dry or with soup. Their unique knife-shaven noodles are also a popular menu item.
Apart from noodles, they also sell pastries such as Pan-Fried Handmade Dumpling, Xiao Long Bao and Taiwan Green Onion Crepe.
My favourite dish from Formosa Delights is their handmade knife-cut noodles! You can opt to have it dry or with soup and I love to have mine dry, This comes with your choice of either beef, chicken or pork.
I got the beef version this time around. I really love the texture and chewiness of the handmade noodles because the knife creates irregularities, no two noodles are the same.
The gravy it's doused it is also the right balance of savoury and sweet. I also love the beef here — not dry and very tender. It's truly one of the best handmade noodles around!
