Signature

Murtabak Mutton

Singapore famous beef murtabak with mutton & chicken curry

Upon receiving our order of Beef murtabak alongside our Chicken briyani - we were in for a treat. Knowing that it is a historical dining place, expectations were high; and they did not disappoint! For $11.50, came two big portions of dishes enough to feed 3 people. It was classically delicious. The highly marinated chicken thigh from the briyani was spicy and falling-off-the-bone tender. and the murtabak was stuffed with heavy chunks of juicy beef, scrambled eggs, and sweet caramelised onions. Since coming here as a kid; this place has remained its integrity and homeliness feel as a family-loved restaurant for many. Talk about a hearty meal again! Highly recommended.
