Qiu Lian Ban Mian was established in 1988 and has since grown to have multiple outlets scattered across our little red dot, including places like City Square Mall and Lau Pa Sat.
Their speciality lies in chewy handmade noodles which are painstakingly made every day. Apart from a typical bowl of ban mian, they also have other dishes like Big Prawn You Mee, Dry Big Prawn Noodle and Dumpling Ban Mee — all crafted with their delicious handmade noodles!
You also got to try their chilli — it really packs a punch!

I just found out that Qiu Lian Ban Mian has an outlet conveniently located in the CBD area! Admittedly, the food here is a tad bit more pricey because of the location, but anything to satisfy a ban mian craving!
I ordered their basic ban mian which comes with just noodles, veges and minced meat. Simple happiness in a bowl! The noodles were the perfect texture and the broth was light but packed with flavour at the same time. I also really love their minced meat, which are like little balls of umami!
