A must-visit for every tourist. Established by Chef-Owner Dave Pynt in 2013. Brand-new menu created daily.
Counter seats facing the open kitchen, which gives you an insight into the flames and the hustle and bustle in the kitchen, are always packed.
Pair your meal with Boutique Wine and Spirits.
Awarded One Michelin Star in 2018. Burnt Ends ranked in 59th on S. Pellegrino's World's 50 Best Restaurants 2021, and 14th on S. Pellegrino's Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2021.
Feel free to take pictures of yourself with the dishes, but taking photos of the restaurant's interior is prohibited.
Often fully reserved due to overwhelming popularity. As reservation slots open 30 days before at 10AM, I finally clinched a reservation at the popular counter seat! Slots swallowed up in seconds.
True to the rumours, I certainly get why Burnt Ends is so popular.
Firstly, it's the nice atmosphere and the friendly, efficient staff.
Furthermore, the bursts of Umami flavour with every bite! For each different ingredient, the chefs were particular about controlling the distance away from the woodfire, the extent of grilling and the grilling temperature etc. to produce the finest quality of their craft.
Appetiser was Quail Eggs with Caviar on top! Smoky flavour!
Grissini with Taramosalata is a dish where you smear creamy fish roe sauce on top of the thin, crispy Grissini.
Fennel with Burrata Cheese was served steaming hot! Brilliant combo!
Their famous burger is served with melt-in-your-mouth meat blended with a kick of spiciness.
Not forgetting to mention, the King Crab! Served with the freshest crab from Norway topped with Garlic Brown powder. Stuffed with overflowing umami juices from the thorough grilling. Lick the sauce off your plate with Sourdough Bread for maximum taste.
Meat was overflowing with juices! Perfect grilling! Even the salads on the side tasted impeccable! Extremely satisfied with the high-quality dishes and excellent service!
