Opened in 2015, Kamoshita is run by 2 experienced Japanese chefs. All of the ingredients are strictly selected from across Japan, blending perfectly with wine.
Their most popular dish would be Oden, all the flavours gathered in one hot pot. A menu full of variety, including Daikon radish, Atsuage (thick, deep-fried beancurd) cooked on a hot plate, and even creative twists on ingredients like Avocado.
Perfect spot to enjoy a fancy evening by the long counter to treat yourself after an arduous day, or to gather and celebrate with friends!
If you're spoilt for choice, choose the Omakase course ($60/$80/$100).
*For the $100 course, do make a reservation 3 days in advance!

Signature

Clay Pot Steamed Rice w Sea Bream (Speciality in Ehime Prefecture), Half Boiled Egg, Omakase Oden per person, Radish

I ordered the $100 Omakase course in a heartbeat. From the appetisers to dessert, I cannot express within the word count limit of this review section how satisfied I was with all 10 dishes, which taste was crafted to perfection. With every bite, the fish and meat melted in my mouth before I could even chew...
The chef will kindly explain their rationale behind the choice of Japanese Sake to go with your meal upon request. What intrigued me the most was the Kanzake that went with the Oden Daikon radish, for the first time in my life. The bitterness of the radish and the coarse rice grains of the Kanzake cancelled out one another! Including the Taimeshi (claypot rice with whole sea-bream), the best 3 hours of exquisite, rich Japanese fine-dining that I've ever had.
