CENTRAL
Tanjong Pagar
Tanjong Pagar proves to be an eclectic mix of food cultures - ranging from local hawker food to Korean BBQ, delicious Japanese ramen and weekend brunch spots, all the way to fine-dining restaurants in shophouses. Completing the urban skyline of Tanjong Pagar is the relatively new and beautifully designed project from the Housing Development Board, which has become a design icon to the area and Singapore as a whole. This area always makes a pleasant daytime stroll or to just simply swing and take in the busy yet peaceful greenery in the small green area on one of the public swinging chairs. You will find a different type of cuisine and dining style in each street of this area - expect to find Korean BBQ to Japanese Ramen in one lane, then cozy western cafe's to French cuisine in the next. Tanjong Pagar Plaza and Maxwell Food Centre is loved by locals.
