Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple
Sri Veeramakaliamman Temple is located in the heart of Little India and is dedicated to the goddess and destroyer of evil, Kali. During WW2, many sought refuge and safety from the Japanese bombings - the temple fatedly emerged unscathed, it is also one of the most decorative places of worship in Singapore.
Serangoon Road
This road happens to be one of the first constructed back in the 1800s and it passes through Little India. A striking feature seen on the road is the shophouse's richly decorative facades and architecture. The streets crowded with lively locals and tourists during the festivals of Thaipusam and Deepavali.
