Noodle

Noodles come in abundance in Singapore - choose from different textures, colours, and shape! From flat translucent noodles like Kway Teow, to Mee Hoon which is very thin and spaghetti-like. The options are endless based on your preferences and what suits a particular dish the most! A popular dish called Kway Teow Goreng (fried flat noodles) is a savoury and satisfying dish from Indian and Malay origins - usually with a distinct red or brown sauce coating. A comforting dish would be Ban Mian - Which is a soupy dish from Chinese origins served in a lightly flavoured clear broth, ground pork bits, and boiled veggies. The array and variations are deliciously endless!

If you feel like eating noodles for breakfast before work, try our Mee Pok. We’re open from 7am onwards on weekdays, and for those with smaller appetites in the morning, we offer small-sized bowls just for $3 until 11am. Our traditional dry Teochew Mee Pok sauce is made from simple ingredients: chili, soy sauce, black vinegar and sesame oil. At the shop, we deep fry garlic slices and pork lard from 4 am every morning. Also, we use only coriander as a condiment which many other Mee Pok shops use spring onions as we believe coriander goes best with our Mee Pok. Since the start of COVID-19, we have had fewer customers as many people are working from home. We are hopeful that as the situation improves, we will be welcoming our customers back for our delicious bowls of noodles.
We will most probably be shifting again in 2021 as this hawker centre is only temporary, so we urge everyone, especially those who work around the area to give our authentic Teochew Mee Pok a try before we move!

For a slurp-worthy breakfast that’s the perfect way to start your day, have a bowl of our ban mian. Hearty, wholesome and filling, our noodles are a healthy way to give yourself the energy to seize the day. We serve our ban mian in both soup and dry form and you can choose your preference. Even if you opt for dry ban mian, we provide our unique soup in a bowl at the side for you to enjoy as well as to cleanse your palate in between mouthfuls. This is made of a base of dried small fish and pork bones that is poured over a raw egg. Stir the mixture together for a unique soup that pairs well with our ban mian. We also make all our noodles fresh everyday in front of your eyes so they are of the best texture when you consume them. These are served alongside a hearty serving of ingredients such as pork, beef or fish which are freshly sourced from our suppliers. Most of our dishes components, especially the noodles, are made inhouse instead of sourced from suppliers as that allows us to have more control over the quality of food that we serve out. While it definitely is more effort and the food may not last as long as those that are from a supplier, the difference in taste is quite significant and we want our customers to be able to experience that. The noodles especially spoil quite quickly and we have to carefully calculate how much noodles we make at a time to minimise wastage as well as to allow our customers to get the product in the best condition it can be in. The pandemic has definitely caused a massive strain on our business and we hope that it picks up soon. We look forward to letting more people try our ban mian and we really hope that whoever does enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed making it!
